The Dallas Cowboys’ 2024 season may have ended in disappointment, but fans are already looking to the future. With the 2025 NFL Draft just around the corner, we’re taking an early look at who the Cowboys might select in the first three rounds.o 
Round 1 (Pick 15): Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern
The Cowboys’ biggest need heading into the offseason is undoubtedly on the offensive line. Peter Skoronski, a dominant tackle from Northwestern, would be an excellent addition to the team. With his impressive athleticism and technical skills, Skoronski has the potential to become a franchise cornerstone.
Round 2 (Pick 47): Antonio Johnson, S, Texas A&M
Safety is another position of need for the Cowboys, and Antonio Johnson would be an excellent value pick in the second round. Johnson is a physical, ball-hawking safety who excelled in the SEC. He would bring a much-needed boost to the Cowboys’ secondary.
Round 3 (Pick 79): Tank Bigsby, RB, Auburn
The Cowboys’ running back corps is in flux, and Tank Bigsby would be an excellent addition to the team. Bigsby is a physical, downhill runner who would bring a much-needed element of toughness to the Cowboys’ offense. With his impressive speed and power, Bigsby has the potential to become a workhorse back in the NFL.
Overall, this mock draft addresses several of the Cowboys’ biggest needs while also adding talented players who can contribute immediately. Of course, the actual draft will play out differently, but for now, this is a promising start.
The Cowboys’ front office has a lot of work to do this offseason, but with a strong draft and some savvy free agent signings, this team could be back in contention in no time. As always, the NFL draft is full of surprises, but one thing is certain – the Cowboys will be looking to make a big impact in 2025.
