From Record-Breaking Guard to SEC Star

 

Amoore spent the first four years of her collegiate career at Virginia Tech, where she steadily developed into a premier playmaker. Her junior season in 2022–23 was a turning point: she recorded the program’s first-ever triple-double and led the Hokies to both an ACC Tournament championship and their first NCAA Final Four appearance. Her 24 made three-pointers in that tournament set a new record at the tiIn 2024, she transferred to Kentucky alongside head coach Kenny Brooks, where she delivered a career-best season. Averaging 19.6 points and 6.9 assists per game on 42.3% shooting, Amoore earned First-Team All-SEC honors while serving as a steady leader for the Wildcats team in transition.

 

 

 

 

Over her collegiate career, she accumulated more than 2,300 points and 800 assists, a milestone achieved only by two other players in Division I history: Caitlin Clark and Sabrina Ionescu.
