The 2025 NFL Draft is just around the corner, and experts are weighing in with their predictions. In his first mock draft of the season, Lance Zierlein reveals his picks for the top 32 teams. This year’s draft class may not have a “generational talent,” but there are plenty of skilled players who can make an immediate impact.
The Tennessee Titans kick off the draft with the first overall pick, and Zierlein predicts they’ll select quarterback Cam Ward from Miami. While Ward may not be a household name, he’s the most talented QB in the class and could provide a much-needed boost to the Titans’ offense.
The Cleveland Browns, meanwhile, are expected to focus on defense with the second overall pick. Zierlein thinks they’ll choose a Pro Bowl-caliber talent off the edge, possibly to replace Myles Garrett if he’s traded. The New York Giants, who had the second-fewest interceptions in the league last season, will likely prioritize defense as well. Zierlein predicts they’ll select two-way talent Travis Hunter, who can help the team take the ball away and score touchdowns as a part-time receiver.
Other notable picks include the New England Patriots selecting offensive tackle Jaelyn Campbell, the Jacksonville Jaguars choosing cornerback Antonio Johnson, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers picking quarterback J.J. Kohl. The Jets, meanwhile, are expected to add some excitement to their offense with the selection of running back Javon Jeanty.
As the draft approaches, these predictions are sure to change. But for now, Zierlein’s mock draft provides a fascinating glimpse into the future of the NFL. With the draft set to take place on April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, fans won’t have to wait long to see which teams will make their predicted picks a reality.
