New Oregon football tight end Jamari Johnson ‘a freak’ with sure hands, according to his former quarterback

Oregon added a sure-handed target to its tight end room in Jamari Johnson.

The 6-foot-5, 258-pound Johnson, who had 13 catches for 158 yards and one touchdown in seven games last season at Louisville, is a significant addition to a room losing Terrance Ferguson and Patrick Herbert this offseason. He’s coming off a season-ending ankle injury, but Johnson’s impact could be immediate and significant, according to his former quarterback.
