One of the latest players to make a move is running back Trevor Etienne, who has officially accepted his invitation to the Senior Bowl. Etienne, the younger brother of Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne, had a breakout season with the Bulldogs in 2024. After transferring from Florida, he played a crucial role in Georgia’s SEC Championship game victory over No. 3 Texas. Etienne’s performance in the championship game was particularly impressive, as he ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns, helping to lead a furious second-half rally.
Throughout the 2024 season, Etienne was the second-leading rusher for the Bulldogs, accumulating 609 yards and nine touchdowns. He also contributed 194 receiving yards, showcasing his versatility as a running back. With Etienne’s departure, the Bulldogs will be relying on returning leading rusher Nate Frazier, a former 4-star recruit who had a promising true freshman season.
Etienne’s decision to participate in the Senior Bowl is a significant step towards his NFL career.
