The National Football League (NFL) has announced the 2025 Pro Bowl Games roster, and two Buffalo Bills players have made the cut. Quarterback Josh Allen and left tackle Dion Dawkins have been named to this year’s Pro Bowl Games, with Allen earning his third Pro Bowl selection and Dawkins securing his fourth.
Allen’s impressive performance this season has earned him a spot among the league’s top players. He ranks fourth in total touchdowns with 40 and seventh in passer rating with 101.4. Allen made history this season by becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to have five consecutive seasons with at least 40 touchdowns. He also holds the record for most combined passing and rushing yards by a player in their first seven seasons.
Under Allen’s leadership, the Bills achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first team in NFL history to beat two teams with 14 or more wins in the same season. They defeated the 15-1 Kansas City Chiefs and the 14-2 Detroit Lions, showcasing their strength and resilience as a team.
Dawkins, on the other hand, has been a stalwart on the Bills’ offensive line, providing excellent protection for Allen. This season, Allen has been sacked only 14 times, the lowest number for any quarterback who has played in all 16 games. Dawkins and the offensive line have also blocked for a rushing offense that boasts the league-leader in rushing touchdowns, James Cook.
In addition to Allen and Dawkins, eight Bills players have been named as alternates for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. These players include center Connor McGovern, running back James Cook, safety Damar Hamlin, linebacker Terrel Bernard, defensive tackle Ed Oliver, fullback Reggie Gilliam, right tackle Spencer Brown, and tight end Dalton Kincaid.
The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will feature a new format, with the traditional game being replaced by a series of skills competitions and a flag football game. The event promises to be an exciting celebration of the NFL’s top talent, and Bills fans will be eagerly watching to see how Allen and Dawkins perform.
